About Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2020: SVMCM scholarship was introduced by the Government of West Bengal to help economically weak student pursuing higher education. scholarship is given to student studying class XI and XII, undergraduate(U.G) in science/Commerce/Arts) professional course,medical, engineering or technical course in regular mode of education. Scholarship is sanctioned to students on the basis of merit cum mean criteria. Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship opens the door of opportunity for poor but meritorious student to complete their education.

Who can apply for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Mean ( SVMCM) scholarship?
Student who is permanent resident of West Bengal and studying in regular school/college of West Bengal. SVMCM scholarship is for students of Class XI to Post graduate having family income less than 2.5 lakh.

Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship renewal.
Students who were awarded SVMCM scholarship in previous year and has secured 60% in under graduate( U.G) course and 50% in Post graduate (P.G) course are eligible for renewal of SVMCM scholarship. Students must apply online within one month of admission in next higher class for renewal of Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship.
