Steps to check online NIOS admission status.

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS): After taking online admission in NIOS secondary or Senior Secondary course, a student can check admission status online. Students can check NIOS admission status by entering the reference number or registered email ID or enrollment number at the NIOS admission status window. Also, NIOS students can check his/her admission status by login into the NIOS Student login window.
Reference number is generated after successful submission of the online admission form. NIOS reference number is 11 digits number starting with the alphabet. Stream 1 (block 1) admission reference number starts with letter A. Stream 1 (block 2) admission number starts with latter N .

How to check NIOS admission status 2023?
To get NIOS admission status you should have 11 digit reference number or registered email ID.
Step 1
Visit NIOS admission status portal i.e, sdmis.nios.ac.in/registration/check-admission-status
Step 2
NIOS admission status window
Type 11 digits reference or registered Email ID in the box.
Step 3
Click on submit button.
NIOS Admission status window will open up with the following detail:
- Reference number and enrollment number.
- Admission Status.
- Academic year.
- Study center.
- Admission verification date.
- Detail of candidate.
- Study Material status.
- Subject taken
Reason for rejection of admission in NIOS.
- Secondary course not passed from recognised board.
- Valid documents not provided.
- The image of the Document provided is not clear.
- Admission fee not paid.
- Wrong information provided during admission.
- Required educational qualification not fulfilled.
