New Delhi– NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET (UG) – 2020) has been postponed keeping in view nation wide lock down and COVID-19 out break. NEET exam was schedule to be held on May,3. NEET exam held once a year for admission in under graduate MBBS, BDS and Ayush programme.

Union Minister for HRD, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted about the exam postponement and has suggested students to stay at home and utilise the time for preparation.

As per Notice issued by National Test Agency ,the admit card for the NEET which was to be released on 27th March 2020 ,will now release after 15th April, 2020 after assessing the situation.

Exact Date examination will also be announced later after assessing the situation. Students have also been advised by the NTA to keep visiting NTA website for latest information.

Earlier this week HRD ministry has postponed JEE MAIN which was to be held on 5th April.

As CBSE , ICSE, NIOS and other state board have postponed the examination due to COVID-19, the publication of result and college admission will also get affected.
